# How can I open a new position?

**To open a new position:**
 - From the trading platform select the financial instrument, then go to Tools and select "New Order", the order window will open
 - Select the Order Type
 - Select the Parameters
 - Submit your order by clicking the order execution buttons.

If you are using One Click Trading, simply click on the Bid (Sell) or (Ask) Buy on the top-left corner of the chart making sure you are on the right instrument.
